CHAB (Moose Jaw, SK)
CHAB is a Canadian radio station that plays oldies music and operates on the 800 AM frequency. It is licensed to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and caters to the southcentral region of the province. The station originally started broadcasting in 1922 under the call sign 10AB at 1200 AM. It officially became CHAB on December 17, 1933, transitioned to 1220 AM in 1941, and settled on its current frequency of 800 AM in 1946. CHAB is owned by Golden West Broadcasting, which is also the parent company of sister stations CJAW-FM and CILG-FM. The station's studios are located at 1704 Main Street North.
