The Cheatham County Exchange serves as the community newspaper for Cheatham County. It is published every Tuesday and originally launched in June 2000 under the name I-24 Exchange. In August 2017, it was acquired by Main Street Media of Tennessee. Main Street Media of Tennessee is a multimedia organization that publishes 12 local weekly newspapers across 10 counties in the Nashville area. They also manage 15 websites, newsletters, social media accounts, as well as radio shows, live videos, and podcasts. The goal of Main Street Media of Tennessee is to deliver distinctive local news and information that affects the everyday lives of its readers.
