Chitralekha

The Chitralekha publishing group was established in 1950 by the renowned journalist Vaju Kotak. Its leading magazine, Chitralekha Gujarati, released its inaugural issue that same year. Over the years, Chitralekha has become a beloved weekly read for the Gujarati community, known for being one of the most affluent and engaged groups in India. For more than 68 years, Chitralekha has consistently provided this community with essential information about news, events, culture, and stories, publishing every Friday without fail. Today, it remains the top-selling magazine in both Mumbai and Gujarat, regardless of format or language.
