Cloverdale Reporter
The Cloverdale Reporter was established in August 1996 by Ursula Maxwell-Lewis. Over the following 12 years, the publication expanded in both size and popularity, much like the historic Clover Valley itself. In March 2008, Black Press Group Inc. acquired the Cloverdale Reporter, ensuring it maintained its strong community focus and keeping Ursula Maxwell-Lewis on as managing editor until her retirement in 2009. Currently, the Cloverdale Reporter is released every Thursday and has a circulation of 20,500, catering to the communities of Cloverdale, Clayton, and nearby areas.

The cat-saving drama played out on a community Facebook page where video and photos were posted by Sami DC. "It was up there for two days, a house cat," said Kari Simpson, who watched the rescue attempt.
