The Calder Cup Final is heading back to Charlotte after the Checkers edged the Abbotsford Canucks 4-3 in overtime last night. In front of the largest home crowd in Canucks history, a back-and-forth battle was knotted 3-3 after regulation. Jesse Puljujärvi ended it at 15:22 of overtime when a centring pass deflected off two defenders’ skates and slid past the goalie. It was Charlotte’s second overtime win of the series.

Registration must be completed by August 1 to guarantee bus service on the first day of school.
