    A Volvo FL Electric 4x2 rigid has joined Gander & White’s fleet as its first electric truck. The new vehicle replaces a diesel refrigerated unit from another manufacturer. Supplied by Ishmael Thomas, transport solutions executive, Volvo Truck and Bus Centre South & East, the FL Electric will work five days a week moving high-value goods such as paintings, sculptures and antiques across London. Gander & White ordered the electric model after a successful trial period with a demo model.

Following the acquisition of the former Go Plant site on Stafford Park in 2024, Greenhous DAF has refurbished the facility to create a new repair and maintenance centre. The site also features DAF and all makes parts support for trucks and trailers. The opening ceremony saw more than 60 attendees including staff, DAF executives, customers and suppliers.
