CPAC - Cable Public Affairs Channel
The Cable Public Affairs Channel, commonly referred to as CPAC, is a Canadian cable service channel that focuses on public and government issues. It is owned by a group of companies, which includes Rogers Communications, Shaw Communications, Vidéotron, Cogeco, and Eastlink. CPAC provides continuous coverage of the Canadian House of Commons, offering two audio options—one in English and the other in French. This channel is comparable to similar services in other nations, such as C-SPAN in the United States, EuroparlTV in the European Union, La Chaîne parlementaire in France, Phoenix in Germany, and BBC Parliament in the United Kingdom, as well as various Brazilian channels like TV Câmara, TV Senado, TV Brasil, and TV NBR. Some of these international networks, particularly C-SPAN, occasionally share content with CPAC.
