Jodie Marsh, 47, is appealing against Uttlesford District Council’s decision to refuse to give her a dangerous wild animal license, which she requires to rehome the troop of ring-tailed lemurs at Fripps Farm, near Great Dunmow, which she runs as a private animal sanctuary. However, neighbours had raised concerns about the sanctuary to the district council as part of Miss Marsh’s application, including examples of Miss Marsh taking exotic animals with her to the pub on a number of occasions.
