I'm originally from New Delhi, India, but I've spent many sunny years in California. Some of my earliest food memories date back to when I was about 3 years old. I would follow my mom around the kitchen, which felt like a magical place. It was full of different spices from India and other countries, fresh vegetables, meat, and all sorts of utensils that kept my curious little mind entertained for hours.
