Marcy Wheeler is a freelance journalist focused on issues related to national security and civil liberties. She writes under the name emptywheel on her personal blog and contributes to various publications such as Motherboard, the New Republic, and Al Jazeera. Additionally, she often shares her insights on television and radio programs. Marcy is the author of "Anatomy of Deceit," which provides an overview of the CIA leak investigation, and she gained attention for her live coverage of the Scooter Libby trial.
