Talking Points Memo

Talking Points Memo, often referred to as TPM, is a politically-focused online journalism platform that leans liberal. It was founded by Josh Marshall, who is known for his work as a journalist, liberal blogger, and historian. The site launched on November 12, 2000. The name "Talking Points Memo" reflects the concept of a brief summary of key issues (or points) that are typically highlighted in discussions or used to advocate for a particular stance. By 2007, TPM was attracting around 400,000 page views each weekday.
