    Global and UK e-commerce order volumes rose year on year in Q1, boosted by Valentine’s and Mother’s day spending, according to new data from  e-tailer delivery management platform Scurri. It said that gifting, homewares and cosmetics were the strongest-performing categories. Data from Scurri’s platform showed that in Q1 the volume of shipments with the UK as the final destination climbed 5% year-on-year, with the key gifting days driving up performance.
