Guinness World Records
Guinness World Records, originally known as The Guinness Book of Records from its launch in 1955 until 1999, and referred to as The Guinness Book of World Records in some U.S. editions, is an annual reference book that compiles records of both remarkable human accomplishments and the extremes found in nature. The concept was developed by Sir Hugh Beaver, and the book was co-founded by twin brothers Norris and Ross McWhirter in Fleet Street, London, back in August 1955.

Free diver Ramy Abdelhamid (Egypt) swam 9 m (29 ft 6 in) down in the Red Sea to earn the record for most pull ups under open water with one breath (male) with an impressive total of 33. We know what you’re thinking, pull ups would be much easier underwater, right? Wrong.
