The first Chevy electric pickups were launched for model year 2024 with a top range of 450 miles. Rated at 70,000 pounds in 16 feet concentrated, the 48-foot-long detachable gooseneck lowboy has an overall capacity of 80,000 pounds. The trailer offers 29 feet of main deck loading space and a loaded deck height of 18 inches.

Optimized for Class 5 chassis applications, Palfinger says, the PAL Pro 58 and PSC 8600 TEC service crane are engineered to for extended reach, lighter weight, and improved performance. The PAL Pro 58 is manufactured with 12-gauge all A-60 galvanneal steel and a hybrid torsion box.

    Ford is recalling the color preference of their iconic founder Henry Ford with a new matte black F-150 Lightning Platinum Black edition. “The Ford F-150 Lightning team heard you, Henry,” Ford states in a press release offering details on the all-electric pickup including a hefty price tag bordering on six figures. Not so sure Henry would have been keen on that given his reputation and monumental success for having produced affordable cars for the masses including the incredibly successful Model T.

Hurricane Idalia made landfall Wednesday morning as a powerful Category 3 hurricane roughly 30 miles southeast of Tallahassee leading to the closure of one of the nation’s busiest ports along with roads and highways. The National Hurricane Center’s latest track shows the storm traveling north-northeast at 18 mph into southeast Georgia towards the Port of Savannah which shut down late Tuesday.
