It features a wide range of shows that focus on home improvement, gardening, crafts, and remodeling projects. The channel's headquarters is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. HGTV is known for hosting the annual giveaways of the HGTV Dream Home and HGTV Smart Home. As of February 2015, around 95.6 million households in the U.S. (which is about 82.2% of homes with televisions) have access to HGTV. In 2016, the channel became the third most-viewed cable network in the country, surpassing CNN, with only Fox News Channel and ESPN ahead of it.
