    FARGO – The North Dakota High School Coaches Association recently announced its Class B softball all-state team. Theall-state squad included two recent senior standouts from Hillsboro-Central Valley and MayPort-CG. The team, which had 20 members this year, included H-CV’s Peyton Quam, who was named NDHSCA’s softball senior athlete of the year, as well as MPCG’s Parker Strand.

    City leaders in Hillsboro plan to install surveillance cameras near the Woodland Park pool after graffiti recently was found inside the public swimming pool’s fenced area. And while the 4-H showcase include many of the staples of Achievement Days from previous years, this year’s Achievement Day will offer a series of Olympic-style, farm-focused athletic events.
