Situated to the west is the Gulf of Mexico, and the region includes the city of Tampa along with nearby towns in Hillsborough County. Additionally, it covers Pinellas County, which has 24 cities such as St. Petersburg and Clearwater, along with the Beaches and Palm Harbor. To the north, the area extends into Pasco and Hernando Counties.
