    Kilgore Fire Department and Kilgore City Council saluted a dedicated firefighter for 15 years of service to the local department. Fire Captain Jason Chamblee was presented with a certificate and service pin for his decade-and-a-half with KFD. Chamblee attended Canton High School and graduated from North Texas Training Academy in Carrolton. He started as a volunteer with the Canton Fire Department. in 2002 and became a part-time firefighter there until 2017.
