The April 2025 CTE Student of the Month is Alora Jade Green. Green is currently a sophomore at Marshall High School and taking part in the criminal justice CTE program. Philleniea Williams, her instructor, nominated Green for the award, and said Green “consistently maintains high grades and shows a strong commitment to her academic success.”“As a self-starter, she takes initiative in her learning both in and out of the classroom.

The CTE Student of the Month is Mareli Argote Rodriguez. Rodriguez is currently in four CTE programs: business information management II, accounting I, livestock and greenhouse operations. She also completed two years in criminal justice. She is set to be a completer in multiple CTE programs next year. During the eighth grade CTE tours, Rodriguez shadowed the business teachers on Friday and stepped in to present on Monday while they were off campus.

Marshall High School recently recognized senior Charley Davis as the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month for November, commending her dedication and leadership in the school’s phlebotomy program. Davis was honored at a surprise ceremony on Wednesday, led by MEDCO’s Robert D. Andrade, where her scholastic accomplishments were outlined and she received praise for her dedication to her medical education. Davis is Stop the Bleed trauma certified.
