KMIR-TV operates on virtual channel 36 and UHF digital channel 26 as an NBC affiliate. It is based in Palm Springs, California, and caters to the Coachella Valley area within California's Inland Empire. The station is owned by Entravision Communications, which is located in Santa Monica, and it is the only NBC affiliate in their portfolio. KMIR-TV has connections with several sister stations, including KPSE-LD, which is a MyNetworkTV affiliate on channel 50, and KVER-CD and KEVC-CD, which are Univision and UniMás affiliates, respectively. Both KVER-CD and KEVC-CD are licensed to Indio and channel 41 and 5, respectively.
