I stumbled on an article that talks about the best food you need to try from every state. I was expecting it would be something pretty Minnesota-based, like Tater Tot Hotdish, or maybe a nice pasty from your local church fundraiser. Homemade Upper MIchigan Pasty Meat Pie with KetchupI was a little surprised by what Delish picked for their article. I don't necessarily disagree, but I have my own suggestions I'll share in a little bit later on in this story.

Black Sabbath's 1979 split with Ozzy Osbourne was the rare breakup that resulted in two excellent new bands. The original Sabbath lineup's last album together, 1978's Never Say Die!, betrayed a burned-out and fractured band with a diminished creative spark. But the addition of Ronnie James Dio as their new singer completely revitalized the group. His soaring, operatic vocal style inspired fresh new ideas from guitarist and riff lord Tony Iommi, resulting in the excellent 1980 album Heaven and Hell.

I am not someone who enjoys being scared. Like I don't really go through haunted houses at Halloween...unless they are totally lame. That's up my alley. I don't like scary movies or TV shows, and I really don't even like surprise parties. I'm a person who will read the end of a book first, or check a TV show synopsis online as I'm watching it so I know what happens, basically. I didn't see this particular movie when I was a kid, mostly because I was under 10 years old, and that was not allowed.

His death was confirmed by Michael Oliphant, frontman of McLachlan's subsequent band Late for Breakfast. "Roger didn't wish his struggle to be widely known and so chose to keep it just between family and a handful of friends," Oliphant said. "Roger was a wonderful friend, collaborator, musical powerhouse, absolute monster bass player and all-round naughty boy.
