KRFO (1390 AM) is a radio station based in Owatonna, Minnesota, that plays classic hits. It is operated by Townsquare Media. On August 30, 2013, Townsquare Media announced it would purchase 53 stations from Cumulus Media, including KRFO, for a total of $238 million. This acquisition was part of Cumulus' deal to buy Dial Global, with both companies being managed by Oaktree Capital Management. The transaction was finalized on November 14, 2013. On April 4, 2021, KRFO launched its FM translator, K234DB (94.7 FM), which began broadcasting the same content as KRFO-AM at a power of 250 watts.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened on Tuesday at about 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 241 and Melby Avenue in St. Michael.
