The Knights Trap and Skeet team, based out of Radford School, wrapped up their semester with an end-of-year fun shoot on Saturday, May 17, featuring members from the Eastlake team. The sport itself has picked up nationwide interest since the Olympics last year, but for Radford School, the sport isn't new. The Knights became the first team across town to feature a shotgun sport. In Olympic competitions, both trap and skeet are events where athletes fire at moving clay targets.

A huge swarm of killer bees in Texas went after a group of horses, killing 3. Eyewitness says "they didn't give up". No, this isn't the plot from that 1978 movie "The Swarm" in which Africanized or "killer" bees invade Texas, bringing Houston to its knees. This is real. The horses owner was also attacked as she and others tried to save them, saying the bees came after her right away, getting into her hair and ears.
