The construction to rebuild the infrastructure at the spray park is just about complete. The splash pad is expected to be turned back on and ready for use within just a few weeks.

A School Resource Officer at Captain Shreve High School got a disturbing tip from a staff member on Thursday. An assistant principal at the school got a tip from a student saying that someone on campus had a gun. The staff member took that information and immediately told Deputy Rivera, the SRO with the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office. Deputy Rivera acted fast to find the 15 year-old student and detained them.
