    An Uber driver in Florida was caught trying to scam a rider, then feigned innocence when confronted over it. It’s another example of the strange incentives at play for Uber drivers not to do their job. I’ve writen before about he “driver doesn’t move” scam. You order a ride and the driver confirms. But the driver doesn’t move. You have a pick-up time of, say, six minutes, but six minutes go by and the driver still has not moved an inch. They don’t respond to messages or calls either.

    British Airways has quietly rolled out a trial on select Airbus A380 routes between London and Boston, Los Angeles, and Miami, where passengers in economy class, branded World Traveller, and premium economy, branded World Traveller Plus, no longer receive their own bottled water. Instead, flight attendants offer water poured into small paper cups from oversized bottles, and only in response to requests. This trial runs through June 22, 2025.

Both American and United (Delta Air Lines does not currently fly to the Middle East beyond Tel Aviv) are pausing all service to the Middle East.
