On Friday, 9th, Motörhead fans gathered in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England, for the Lemmy Forever ceremony, honoring the late legend, Lemmy Kilmister. Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell was on hand to place Lemmy’s ashes into a new statue created by local sculptor Andy Edwards. The monument captures Lemmy in his 1981 live glory, commemorating the year Motörhead headlined the Heavy Metal Holocaust nearby at Port Vale Stadium.

German thrashers Sodom have released a video, created by former guitarist Andy Brings, for their latest single, “Witchhunter.” The track is an homage to their late drummer Chris Witchunter and is the second single taken from their upcoming album, The Arsonist, scheduled to arrive on June 27 via SPV/Steamhammer.

Pagan folk metal outfit Arkona recently dropped a lyric video for their haunting new single, “Cectpa” (“Sister”). The dark track explores themes of inner grief and spiritual reckoning, highlighting a more atmospheric side of the band. The track is the first piece of new music since 2023’s Kob’. Metalcore veterans Deadguy have announced Near-Death Travel Services, their long-awaited sophomore album and first in three decades, arriving June 27 via Relapse Records. The band reunited after their 2021 documentary Killing Music, recorded the album, and have now unleashed a video for their new single, “Kill Fee.”Deadguy will also appear on The Dogs Of Hope, a charity compilation benefiting the Randolph County Animal Shelter in Alabama.
