A charge of attempted gross sexual assault against Jamie Keizer, 54, of Tenants Harbor was dismissed/ The district attorney's office stated in a court document that the dismissal was in the interest of justice but that the dismissal was "without prejudice" which means the office could refile charges after a police investigation is completed. kAm%96 @776?D6 H2D 2==6865 E@ 92G6 92AA6?65 :? &?:@?

National Doughnut Day is Friday, June 6, and the Rockport Donut Festival approaches. This means I get to write about my favorite bit of food history: the origins of the doughnut hole! While some food histories are a bit nebulous, the story of the doughnut hole — that is, the doughnut as a round confection with a hole in the middle, not a Dunkin' munchkin — is one with receipts: It’s a dessert innovation that was made, without a doubt, in Rockport by Capt. Hanson Gregory in the 1840s.
