Witness in Cushing Homicide Case Pleads to New Offense

ROCKLAND — A Rockland man who has agreed to testify in a Cushing homicide case was back in court again this week and pleaded guilty to violating a condition of his prior release on a separate conviction. John G. Flower Jr., 39, pleaded guilty April 16 in the state court in Knox County to violating a condition of release by testing positive for drugs. Sale of Dragon Products Completed

THOMASTON — Heidelberg Materials North America has completed the acquisition of Giant Cement Holding Inc. and its subsidiaries that includes the Dragon cement plant. The company announced the sale was completed on April 1.
