    Nintendo's president, Shuntaro Furukawa, has announced that the company will not be able to satisfy demand for the Switch 2 on launch day in Japan. According to a post on social media, approximately 2.2 million people in the region had applied for the pre-order lottery system via the My Nintendo Store; a number which Furukawa states "far exceeds the number of Nintendo Switch 2 consoles that can be delivered" at launch.

    Nintendo has kept the F-Zero spirit alive over the past few years with all sorts of retro revivals and game updates, and this week it's rolled out Version 1.6.0 of its online battle royale F-Zero 99. You can update the game now from the Switch home menu, and although we don't have the official patch notes just yet on the English support page, we do know what's included.     Capcom is gearing up for the remaster of Onimusha 2 next month, and as part of this, it's now announced a special digital bundle. If you haven't played the first or second game, you'll also have the option to pick up the "Onimusha 1+2 Pack". This will be arriving on the same day as Onimusha 2 Samurai's Destiny on 23rd May 2025. This pack cannot be pre-ordered but early purchasers will still receive an album selection pack as a bonus, which is the same bonus as the one included with Onimusha 2.
