It’s fun to cook at the YMCA. The J.A. Henry Community YMCA will open its brand-new Teaching Kitchen this May. Families and individuals alike are invited to sharpen their knives cooking skills and learn new recipes. Kicking off the series is “Got Milk?” on Tuesday, May 6. This class on plant-based alternatives will be led by Food for Life’s Crissie Smith. Down the line, the YMCA will offer classes on topics like shopping for in-season produce and tips for meal-prepping school lunches.
