O Heraldo
O Heraldo is a historic English-language daily newspaper that has been in circulation for over 100 years, based in Panjim, the capital city of Goa, India. It was founded on January 22, 1900, as the very first daily newspaper in Portuguese by Prof. António Messias Gomes and Luís de Menezes Bragança. After spending a decade in Lisbon, Messias Gomes returned to Goa in 1919, where he implemented significant expansions and upgrades to the newspaper's operations.
