Only Natural Diamonds
The Natural Diamond Council serves as the leading resource for both consumers and the industry on natural diamonds. Initially established as the Diamond Producers Association, our goal is to uphold the integrity of the contemporary diamond jewelry market while inspiring, educating, and supporting consumers. We accomplish this by: - Highlighting the unique value and advantages of natural diamonds and their suppliers. - Showcasing the positive contributions of the natural diamond sector by sharing insights, promoting best practices, and advocating for ethical, social, and environmental standards. - Providing clear and precise information regarding diamonds and the diamond industry. - Collaborating with industry partners to foster transparency and build trust. Our six member companies—De Beers, Dominion Diamond, Lucara Diamond, Murowa Diamonds, Petra Diamonds, and Rio Tinto—account for about 75% of the global rough diamond production. With 35 operations spanning eight countries across four continents, the Natural Diamond Council's members play a crucial role in building a sustainable future and positively impacting millions of lives. Our new consumer brand and digital platform, Only Natural Diamonds, aims to inspire and educate consumers worldwide about the values and heritage of natural diamonds, while also highlighting the remarkable innovations occurring in the diamond jewelry sector.
