    Princeton Councilman Jan Ballard, left, hugs his cousin, Sheena Gordon, at the Lincoln Park shelter house Friday, where Gordon stopped in to get lunch provided to those affected by Thursday's tornado. Gordon's property across the street from the park was hit by the tornado, but she said she wasn't home at the time. The tornado damaged several homes near the park and tore out several trees in the park area.

    The City of Princeton set temporary dumpsters at East Pine and North Race Streets to help those affected by the Thursday afternoon tornado dispose of some of the debris. The city issued guidance, asking that tree debris from the storm be placed between the sidewalk and curb. No liquids, chemicals or tree limbs should be placed in the dumpsters.

    OWENSVILLE — Karen Teel Stoll, 87, of Owensville, died April 13, 2025, at home. She was born Oct. 7, 1937, to C. Warren "Abie" and Doris (Smith) Thompson. She married Jon Teel in 1956. He preceded her in death in 2005. She married Joe Stoll in 2012. She was a registered nurse, and farmed with her first husband, Jon. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Owensville and later became a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt.
