ProSieben

ProSieben

ProSieben, which means "seven" in German, is a German television network that offers free-to-air programming. It began broadcasting on January 1, 1989, and is recognized as the second-largest privately-owned TV network in Germany. While ProSieben creates some of its own shows, it also features numerous American programs. On May 3, 2012, the network introduced a pay-TV channel named ProSieben Fun, and later, on September 3, 2013, it launched another channel called ProSieben Maxx. ProSieben operates three different versions of its channel: ProSieben for Germany, ProSieben Austria for Austria, and ProSieben Schweiz for Switzerland. Each version includes tailored advertisements and news specific to its audience. The channel's English slogan is "We love to entertain you." ProSieben broadcasts via the Astra 1L and 3A satellites and is uplinked by MX1.
