Heliene celebrated the grand opening of its new solar module manufacturing facility in Rogers, Minn., which brings the company’s U.S. manufacturing capacity to 1.3 GW per year. The new facility houses Minnesota Line 3, Heliene’s third U.S.-based manufacturing line, which became operational in April and has an annual capacity of 500 MW. Heliene also owns and operates 300 MW Minnesota Line 1 and 500 MW Minnesota Line 2 at its Mountain Iron, Minn. facility.

Sunnova TEP Developer, a residential solar and energy storage developer, and subsidiary of Sunnova, filed for Chapter 11 protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. The company reported $100 million to $500 million in both assets and liabilities and indicates that there will be funds available for distribution to unsecured creditors. Sunnova’s shares were down nearly 9% at the close of trading on June 2.
