Sankei Shimbun

Sankei Shimbun (産経新聞 Sankei Shinbun?), which translates to "Industrial and Economic Newspaper," is a daily publication based in Japan, produced by the Sankei Shimbun Co., Ltd. (株式会社産業経済新聞社 Kabushiki-gaisha Sangyō Keizai Shinbunsha?). The name Sankei is a shortened form of Sangyō Keizai. It ranks as the sixth most widely circulated newspaper in Japan and is recognized as one of the top five major national newspapers in the country.
