The Philadelphia Eagles have built their foundation in the NFL Draft and it’s led them to find several gems in the later rounds. But when those players pop up earlier than expected, it could overshadow some of the more high-profile rookies that are taken earlier in the draft. The Eagles are high on Jihaad Campbell, who was taken with the 31st overall pick in April’s draft but wasn’t able to participate in the offseason program due to a shoulder injury.

The Philadelphia Eagles have remained aggressive in the 2025 offseason despite being the defending champs. It is clear that the team views this as a window of elite contention and not simply one magical run. With the current level of talent on both sides of the ball, it is hard to form any logical argument against this sentiment. Philly has to be counted among the league's top contenders, and a large part of this is because of the quiet greatness of Jalen Hurts.

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to defend their Super Bowl championship in 2025 and a big part will take place as the team enters training camp. The Philadelphia Eagles wrapped up their OTAs and minicamp. Like the rest of the league, they are waiting to reconvene for training camp in July. The offseason workouts thus far gave the Eagles coaching staff a better idea of their depth in certain positions and clarified the pecking order. The training camp will be the last chance for players on the bubble to make their case to be included in the final 53-man roster. A competition exists in the Eagles' quarterback room.

The Philadelphia Eagles had a number of notable departures this offseason. Some were more understandable than others, as players like Milton Williams and Josh Sweat received lucrative deals that the Eagles couldn't have matched. Starting safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson's departure, however, was a bit of a head-scratcher, considering that the Eagles only received Kenyon Green and a fifth-round pick in the trade with the Texans. To make matters worse, Green isn't off to a great start in Philadelphia.
