Shanghai Daily (Chinese: 上海日报; Pinyin: Shànghǎi Rìbào) is an English-language newspaper in China that was launched in October 1999 and is operated by the Shanghai United Media Group. The newspaper primarily caters to expatriates residing in Shanghai, international visitors, particularly foreign investors and tourists, as well as local English-speaking professionals. Additionally, many Chinese students read it to enhance their English skills. Notably, it is the only English newspaper in Mainland China that is published every day of the week.
