Pacific Daily News

The Pacific Daily News, which was originally known as Guam Daily News, is a daily newspaper located in Hagåtña, within the U.S. territory of Guam. It is owned by Gannett Corporation and publishes every day of the week. The newspaper was established by Joseph Flores, who later became the Governor of Guam. Locally referred to as "PDN," the publication provides readers with up-to-date local news and stories that focus on Guam, Micronesia, and the broader Pacific Rim area, as well as breaking news from the United States and around the globe. A significant portion of the PDN's coverage revolves around political issues and matters that impact the residents of Guam. Additionally, the PDN includes a weekly entertainment section called "GuamPika," published every Friday, which is aimed at tourists visiting the island. As the only daily newspaper in the Micronesia region, the PDN is transported by air to all the major islands within the area.
