Siam Rath
Siam Rath (Thai: สยามรัฐ, RTGS: Sayam Rat, pronounced [sā.jǎːm rát]; meaning 'Siamese State') is a Thai newspaper that was established on June 25, 1950. It became one of the most influential newspapers in Thailand during the latter part of the 20th century and had a strong connection to former prime minister Kukrit Pramoj, who co-founded the paper and served in various roles including owner, director, editor, and columnist. The newspaper aims to be a "quality" publication, similar to the more popular Matichon. After Kukrit passed away in 1995, the paper was taken over by Chatchawal Kong-udom.
