Bangkok Post

The Bangkok Post is a daily newspaper printed in English and based in Bangkok, Thailand. It made its debut on August 1, 1946, featuring four pages and a price tag of 1 baht, which was quite a hefty sum at the time when baht was a paper currency. With a rich history spanning over 71 years, it holds the title of Thailand's oldest newspaper across all languages (the Thai language newspaper, Thai Rath, started in 1962, with its own history beginning in 1950). Currently, the Bangkok Post has a daily circulation of 110,000 copies, with 80% of them distributed in Bangkok and the rest across the country. As of January 2017, Umesh Pandey serves as the editor of the newspaper.
