    35A Baltimore City Recreation and Parks’ (BCRP) project called Federal Hill East Slope Repairs is set to begin this month. Riprap stones were added to the east slope of the park in 2019 as a temporary repair after a large mass of soil slid down the hill and damaged the sidewalk. Now the permanent repairs are set to begin.

    17Artist Nicole Buchholz completed a mural last week on the Outdoor Classroom at Digital Harbor High School. The mural is on the back of a Streetlite Christian Fellowship masonry wall that faces the school. Buchholz, who has a background in urban design and planning, has a mural company called SolRaya Public Space.

    55United States Naval Ship (USNS) Pomeroy arrived Thursday, June 5th at the North Locust Point Marine Terminal and the USNS Charlton arrived docked next to it the following Thursday, June 12th. The ships are docked in a slip that was the longtime home of reserve military cargo ships SS Antares and SS Denebola before they were retired and turned to scrap in 2024. The two ships are layberthing and awaiting assignment with Locust Point being the new home for them when they are not out on assignment.
