Before his role at Quinnipiac, he taught courses such as “Writing and Reporting,” “Business Reporting,” “Economics Reporting,” and “Business and the Media” at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he held the title of Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism. Additionally, Roush was the director of the Carolina Business News Initiative, which provides undergraduate students with a major in business journalism and offers training opportunities for professionals in the field.
