TCU 360 is a key component of TCU Student Media, guided by students with support from faculty. Our goal is to nurture future journalists who prioritize accurate and ethical reporting to keep the TCU community informed and engaged. We invite all Horned Frogs to join us.     Paige Bueckers, who is coming off a national championship win with UConn, was drafted No. 1 overall to the Dallas Wings on Monday night. The Wings clinched the first pick of the draft after an unsuccessful 9-31 season. Bueckers will join the squad alongside four other rookies and a new head coach. Chris Koclanes was hired by the Wings in December. In Bueckers’ 2022-23 season, she suffered an ACL tear that kept her on the sidelines for the entire season.

    Handlers of retired law enforcement dogs would be able to receive grants to help with the animal’s medical expenses under a bill filed in the Texas House. House Bill 2823, sponsored by Rep. AJ Louderback, R-Victoria, would establish a grant program to cover medical expenses for retired K-9s, including severe injury, illness or disease threatening the life, mobility, or long-term health of the dog. Routine vet visits wouldn’t be covered.

    No. 1 TCU beach volleyball continued its dominant run over the weekend, notching four wins at the Wildcat Spring Challenge. This included a pair of critical Big 12 victories over No. 12 Arizona State and Arizona. The Horned Frogs extended their win streak to 17 matches, improving to 19-3 on the season. Saturday’s showdown against Arizona State proved to be a tightly contested battle.
