Louisiana is often called Sportsman's Paradise, and is known nationwide for some of the best hunting and fishing in the country. In Louisiana, hunters and fishers over the age of 18 need to acquire a license to do so and must keep their license and proof of age on them while hunting or fishing. Hunters aged 17 or younger need a youth license unless they're just spectating, while fishers age 17 or younger do not need a license.
