The event provided startups with opportunities for mentorship, networking with investors and refining their business strategies. Five finalists will be selected in late July and compete for a $10,000 grand prize in two tracks: FDA and Non-FDA. DixieMaze Farms in northwest Louisiana is closing after 26 years. The owners of the farm are retiring and moving on to a new chapter in their lives. The final Fall Fest at DixieMaze Farms will run from Sept. 27 to Nov. 1, 2025. Tickets for the final Fall Fest are available for purchase online. A childhood memory for many northwest Louisianans will soon be closing. After 26 years of business DixieMaze Farms announced that it will be closing after its last celebration — Fall Fest at DixieMaze Farms.

The Posados Cafe on Mansfield Rd. in Shreveport, Louisiana, has permanently closed. A note on the door directed customers to the remaining Bossier City location on Old Minden Rd.The Tex-Mex restaurant was known for its fresh food and friendly atmosphere. A popular Tex-Mex chain has announced its closing another location in Shreveport. On Monday, June 23 the Posados Cafe located at Mansfield Rd. closed with a note posted to the door stating that the store is now closed.

Her community service initiative, "Head in the Game," focuses on youth athleticism and well-being. She won the talent and health/fitness preliminaries at the Miss Louisiana competition.
