The former high school baseball coach was inducted into the National High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Tuesday night in Rapid City, South Dakota. Rashid won 807 games over a combined 39 seasons at Princeville, Peoria Bergan, Peoria Notre Dame and Illinois Valley Central. During his time at IVC, Rashid collected a trio of Illinois High School Association state trophies in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
