Current Superintendent Dan Cox has been on paid administrative leave since Jan. 6. The district will begin a search for a permanent superintendent for the 2026-27 school year. The Rochester school district has appointed an interim superintendent after it announced in mid-May it was parting mutually parting ways with Superintendent Dan W. Cox on June 30.
