The Manitoulin Expositor
The Manitoulin Expositor, founded in 1879, holds the title of the oldest newspaper in Northern Ontario. It is locally owned and runs on the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabe community of Mnidoo Mnis. The paper's talented journalists, who have received numerous awards, work hard to document the rich history, culture, and narratives of the world’s largest freshwater island and its residents.
