    OLEAN — The Seneca Nation and the City of Olean announced April 16 the creation of a joint task force to tackle the continuous incidents of untreated sewage discharges from the city’s wastewater treatment system into the Allegheny River. The 10-person task force, which will include both Olean Mayor Bill Aiello and Seneca Nation President J. Conrad Seneca, stemmed from a meeting between the two leaders that occurred last week.

    SALAMANCA — The Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino announces the canceled Dwight Yoakam performance has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8, in the Seneca Allegany Event Center. Yoakam was originally scheduled to perform this past Saturday, April 12, but had to cancel due to illness. The country music legend will bring his “Cosmic Roundup & Rodeo” tour to the casino with special guests The Mavericks. Original tickets for the April 12 performance date will be honored for the new show date.
