Research carried out by Loughborough University for the End Child Poverty Coalition has uncovered a correlation between the two-child limit and the proportion of children living in poverty across London's parliamentary constituencies. The data highlights that Bethnal Green and Stepney, which has the highest child poverty rate in London at 50.4 per cent, also has the second-highest proportion of children affected by the two-child limit, at 22.1 per cent.
